DURBAN – KZN is becoming the murder capital of the country.
That’s a major headache for provincial police commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi.
He’s come under fire for what some say is excessive and dangerous use of force.
Since April, at least 40 suspected criminals have been killed in gunfights with police, that’s 10 a month.
Speaking at a crime prevention summit, Mkhwanazi says it’s tough to negotiate with people shooting at you.
