Two South East Asian Carved Panels - superb quality
These panels are matching hand carved with slightly different interpretations of the subject
Superb carving the beaks and serpents tongue are undercut and stand proud of the body.
Both depict a serpent and two crane like birds in its mouth on a leaf shaped panel
Hardwood - one piece of wood
The carving is quality
Age wise i would suggest early 20th century or slightly earlier
Size
75cm tall
33cm wide
Condition is as descibed but very good with only minor chips to the horns illustrated and wood crack in one but stable and minor just age shrinkage
Lovely piecesthat are ready t0 hang as a stuninng pair
