Description
This is a pair of Antique Vietnamese Silver Taels weighing .6 ounces each (18 grams) that have each been repurposed into a Pendant. They are informally called Vietnamese Money Pendants and date to the Nguyen Dynasty (1802-1883). These pendants were purchased by my father in Penang, Malaysia in 1980 during the period he owned an antique shop on the island. These taels have NOT been polished. Polishing these taels would make them much more lustrous.Pendant Dimensions: 5/8 inch wide by 1 3/4 inch long, Depth of 1/8 inch. Fully extended with the nylon cord the necklace is 12 inches long
