For your consideration, an antique Maranao Kris. No fancy frills, made for fighting.
Blade - 11 waves, laminated, keen edge, 2 copper blade clamps nice pattern. Nicks towards the tip. 2 copper baka-baka or blade clamps.
Hilt - Wooden horse hoof pommel. String / twine wrap is mostly intact and would need to stabilize the wrap to keep it from further unraveling. Copper plate and ferrule covers the top of the hilt.
No scabbard.
