ANTIQUE Filipino Philippines Maranao Betel Nut Box Bronze Silver Beaded Strap

This is a antique Filipino betel nut box. Comes with the original strap which are VERY RARE to find on betel nut boxes for sale. The strap is made out of heavy ancient seed beads braided in some type of thread. It does have some age.
Fantastic piece silver inlay bronze. Very heavy for it's size, the peg for the hinge is not fully intact but it opens and closes just fine without the lid coming off. The size is 17 centimeters x 8.5 centimeters x 8 centimeters. There are many different art design patterns that look very similar but have not been able to find this exact one on google.
This looks like there is some beads missing but that’s the be expected for it’s age.
Bronze and silver "Lutuan" inlaid betel nut box with beaded strap. (rare to find strap intact). Beautiful  inlay  combining floral and geometric designs.  Strap is stunning, with geometric designs in red, yellow, black, blue, and white glass beads. Three inner compartments with hinged lids for betel nuts, coca leaves, and coca paste. Collected in 1973 on Mindanao island, Jolo city. White residue on edge is coca paste deposited from use, and is easily cleaned if desired.  Flat-topped boxes such as this one are used by women, while boxes with a crowned lid are used by men.
