Description

A rare and unusual late 19th century Indonesian Philippine Moro kris, Sundang, Mindanao, the straight double edged 44cm blade with 10 waves, the raised centre inlaid either side with copper decoration forming to stylise a fish, bone hilt possibly as a stylised bird head set in a brass filigree collar, contained in the original wooded sheath covered with several panels of engraved brass and copper sheet. very slight dent to base of scabbard. Overall 62cm
